Updated: Aug 11, 2019

Natural Mobility Training

Natural Mobility represents a progression from wherever you may be right now, toward skillful, pain-free movement in daily life. Some basic benefits of this method include:

  • Reduce Abnormal Tension and Pain

  • Reestablish Structural Alignment

  • Balance the Autonomic Nervous System

  • Facilitate the Natural Healing Process

  • Synchronize Movement, Respiration & Mental Activity

At higher levels, it facilitates the development of:

  • Practical Movement For the Real World

  • Functional Flexibility, & Real World Strength

  • Movement Efficiency For Refined Performance & Injury Prevention.

  • Unspecialized Competence in all Domains of Movement.

  • Adaptability To Move Through Any Environment.

Movement and mobility training starts with self-healing exercises. Utilizing Meridian Stretching and Sotai movements we can learn how to restore balance to our bodies and help facilitate our natural healing process.

When it comes to developing functional flexibility and expanding range of motion, nothing really hones in like Functional Range Conditioning. This involves various methods of joint conditioning to strengthen the joints, increase flexibility and reduce the risk of injury during physical activity and in daily life.

Fitness is more than just exercise, it's the competency with which we interact with the world around us. It all comes down to movement, and the better we move, the more complete our experience of life becomes. With physical competence, obstacles become opportunities, and what used to be painful becomes playful. The focus of our approach is on developing the strength and skills to meet the demands of your life, whatever they may be for you.

The goal of Natural Mobility is not only to guide you through your development, but also provide you with the tools to train yourself and facilitate your own natural healing process.

Natural Mobility Therapies

Natural Mobility's therapeutic approach integrates a few different treatment modalities in a typical session. Shiatsu is a treatment method that involves finger and palm pressure and assisted stretching to stimulate circulation in the meridian system, while Sotai is a structural realignment method that works through active resistance. Treatments also integrate basic elements of Kenbiki; a revolutionary revival of the traditional Japanese therapy involving the adjustment of maligned tendons, that was famously utilized by Samurai warriors.

Natural Mobility treatments aim to help with:
