You will also learn and practice how to pin, how to escape a joint lock, and how to prevent escape. We will also discuss the science of how bones break, how joints dislocate, and how to prevent it all from happening during training; the better you know how it happens, the less likely you are to accidentally go too far. We will also cover small joints like fingers, the mechanics of applying locks, and how to use your body weight and integrate simple strikes to support the joint-locks. This is a great opportunity to practice in a safe environment and refine your skills if you are a seasoned practitioner, and a great way for beginners to get a good grasp of what joint-locking is all about .
