Half-Day MovNat Meetup
at Clear Being Center

Join us on Saturday, June 3rd from 9am-1:30pm for a deep dive exploration of Natural Movement training surrounded by and interacting with nature. (Cost: $88)
Learn more about MovNat and what Natural Movement training means at this half-day event as we get to know each other, and our own bodies, starting with an exploration of ground movement and balancing, and then moving through various nature stations where we can explore different movement skills on the beautiful property of the Clear Being Center.

This half-day event is being taught as a collaboration between Genya Klaiman and Alex Schenker. The two met at Genya's MovNat certification a few years ago and have been collaborating and learning from each other ever since. Together with others in the community, they are both dedicated to spreading the practice of Natural Movement and awareness of its benefits.
Genya has a lifelong background in athletics, that led to an education in Kinesiology, and a deep exploration of Yoga to consolidate the physical and spiritual emphasis to his practice. His practice involves an element of functional movement, breathwork, and Soul coaching. MovNat introduces an element of play and exploration that takes the idea of a movement practice off "the mat" and into the environment, where your movement not only involves yourself, but how you interface and relate to other beings in your environment. This can be explored with an emphasis on movement, breathing, and/or a more subtle spiritual connection.

Alex Schenker has a background in healing arts and martial arts that involve a lot of dynamic movements like falling, rolling, balancing, climbing, and running, which led to his deep interest upon discovering MovNat in 2015. Now he is one of the two people in Canada who teaches the certification courses. Most recently he has undertaken a course in Nature and Forest Therapy, also known as Shinrin Yoku.
Alex's practice has a focus on movement, breathing, mentality, consumption, and our environment as the 5 pillars of affecting our health with our lifestyle choices, and his emphasis is on restoring the human movement potential, and maintaining balance and optimal health in the body.
